How to use

Links are used to let users navigate to other pages, views, or parts of the same page. They can appear inside a sentence (inline link) or stand alone after related content (standalone link).

Use Links to guide users to different sections or external resources, not to trigger actions like saving or deleting.

Styles

There are two styles of Links:

Inline link

Inline link

Standalone link

Standalone link

Used on its own after text.

Do’s and Don’ts

Do

Keep standalone Links separate from paragraphs.

Don't

Don’t mix standalone Links into running text.

Do

Use clear link text that tells where the Link goes.

Don't

Don’t use vague text like “click here”.

Accessibility

  • Link text must clearly explain where it goes (e.g., “Download boarding pass”)
  • Inline Links: keep them short and unique within the same paragraph.

Content

Badges should contain numbers only, representing counts or quantities (e.g. messages, tasks, alerts). Keep the content concise and meaningful.

  • Use clear and descriptive text (e.g., “Manage your booking”, “Contact support”, “Read terms and conditions”).
  • Avoid generic labels like “click here” or “more info”.
  • Keep it to 4 words max for clarity and readability.
  • Don’t use punctuation at the end.
