Inline Select

Allows the user to choose from a set of options.

When to use

Just like a regular Select, use an Inline Select to allow the user to choose from a set of options. However, you can use an Inline Select instead of a regular Select when:

  • Space is very limited;
  • There is no larger form where it should be a part of;
  • It can provide clear context, by making it part of a paragraph (optional).

Sizing

An Inline Select can adapt its size to the accompanying paragraph (if applied this way). As a stand-alone component, it provides the same flexibility.
