1 — Access to Figma
During you onboarding you will get access to Figma.
2 — Connect to the Aero Global Foundation
Once you have access to our Figma space, you can activate the needed libraries. Our library system consists of:
Add Aero Global Foundation
Global Components, Typography, Icons and all other Variables like colors, space, size etc.
Add your own specific Platform library
For example: Blueweb or Mobile.

To add the libraries to your files, simply go to the Libraries panel and search for it there. The Library panel can be found via the Library icon in the Assets tab from the left sidebar. Or by clicking the Figma icon from your file, located in the top left corner, and selecting Libraries.

3 — Switch Brands, Themes and Sizes (depending on platform)
If you work with Blueweb you can start using the Design Tokens in your files. This means you can use the tokenized Components (or apply a variable yourself) and switch between Brands, Themes and Sizes. Other platforms will follow according to the roadmap.

4 — Optional: Use our own helper Plugins
Search for our own Plugins under Plugins & Widgets. In the top right corner of the panel, make sure to select “From Air France DBBL” instead of “All” and you’ll find it easily.
Aero Tokenizer

A nice helper plugin that has all the design tokens (variables) ready in one central place. Apply colors, spaces, sizes, border widths and more directly from the plugin onto your objects in Figma.
Other benefits:
- Better readability: Unlike the default Figma UI, the token/variable names are not cut off
- Complete search: You can search for all tokens/variables and apply them
- Easy to understand: The smart thumbnails reflect how space, size and border tokens work
We are continuously improving the Plugin, so feedback is more than welcome.
